SCIENCE EXPERIMENT

The Scientific method involve devising an idea or theory, making a prediction from it, and carrying out experiment to test it. By trial and error we discount old theories and devolop new ones,gradualy moving towards greater understanding. The practical work of projects,tests and experiment is central to scientific progress.

Experiment -1

Light for Growth

Plant use the energy in light to make their food. Find out what happens if plants are kept in dark.

• Fill the tray with potting compost. sprinkle cress seeds on the surface and water them gently
• leave the tray on a window sill where it will gwt plenty of light. Check the tray each day and look how the seed growing
• After a few day leaves formed and plant grows 

Experiment-2

Phototropism

Plant try to grow towards bright light so that their leaves get all light they can. this is known as phototropism

• fill the tray with potting compost.
• Sprinkle cress seed on top and water them gently
• cut a hole about 4 inches long in side of cardbox. put the tray inside the box and put the lid on the box.
• watch the seeds as they sprout,Do they grow straight upwards, as they would normally or towards the hole

Experiment-3

MOLD

Mold is a kind of Fungus. It grow on old and dead living things, including old food

• put some water on bread and place it on container by covering
• after a few days there should be plenty of mold on the bread look at the mold throug clear film
